Submission guidelines
Authors are invited to submit papers of up to 6 pages, written in English, in PDF format and compliant with the IEEE standard. All papers must be original contributions and not previously published, nor currently under consideration, for publication elsewhere. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. The Chairs of the Program Committee are not allowed to submit papers to the conference for a fair review process. Papers must be submitted via the EDAS submission system.
Final submission guidelines
The final paper submission deadline is on (October 27, 2022 for round 1) December 05, 2022 for round 2. To successfully include your paper(s) in the RIVF 2022 conference proceeding, authors must strictly follow the following instructions:
Step 1: Register and make payment for your paper(s) in the EDAS system with the registration fees
Step 2: Final paper revision
- Revise your paper(s) according to the reviewers’ comments.
- Make sure your paper(s) uses the IEEE conference paper template. See Submission Guidelines for detailed instructions.
- Proofread your paper(s) and check its layout (NO page numbered, NO footnotes, NO headers)
- Your PDF must be IEEE Xplore compliant. Authors should use IEEE PDF eXpress to certify their manuscript(s):
(i) Create an IEEE PDF eXpress Plus account with conference ID 55975X
(ii) Once the IEEE PDF eXpress account is created, you can access the IEEE PDF express website.
(iii) Click “Create New Title” to convert or verify your final paper
(iv) You can upload your Word Document file for PDF conversion or verify your PDF file by clicking the “Submit File for Checking or converting” button.
(v) You will receive the online confirmation of successful upload and an email with your converted or checked PDF attached.
Step 3: Final paper submission
- Select paper presenter(s)
- Make the paper registration on EDAS (You need to make the payment before the paper can be uploaded)
- Upload your final (IEEE Xplore compliant) manuscript to EDAS. Please ensure all details in EDAS, especially the Abstract and list of Authors, are consistent with the final paper since details in EDAS will be used for conference proceedings.
- Submit IEEE Copyright Form by going to the “My Papers” tab in EDAS and clicking on the ‘(c)’ icon under the column “Copyright Form” where their paper is located. It will guide you step-by-step.
Follow the above instructions to ensure your paper is included in the conference proceedings. IEEE has a strict policy on No-Show. One of the authors or their representative needs to present the paper at the event. Failure to do so without valid reasons will risk the paper from being included in the IEEE Xplore database.
If you have further questions after reading all instructions, please contact the Organizing Committee via email at rivf2022@huflit.edu.vn.
